Today, Ms. Whelan's class had an exciting field trip where they learned all about the brave firefighters and the essential work they do to keep our community safe. They even got to test out some of the equipment! A huge thank you to the dedicated team at Jessamine County Fire Station 2 for hosting us! We truly appreciate you taking the time to educate our students!

A huge crowd showed out last night to support our WJHS boys soccer team who took on Covington Catholic in the Sweet 16 first round of State. Though the Colts did not come away with a win, they fought hard and we couldn't be more proud of these student athletes! Way to go, West!

Yesterday, some of the "big kids" who are part of our baseball and softball teams went to Wilmore Elementary to help teach the Cubs. We love seeing our athletes get back to the community. Go Colts!

A stampede of lady Colts with All-Region honors! It was a great season for our girls!

From the classroom to the crime lab! 🚨 Mrs. Foster's Forensics students were busy creating 3D shoe print molds and lifting prints like seasoned pros. It's safe to say their investigation skills are on point!

Our Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) teacher, Mr. Tyler, is truly making an impact on our students. He not only invites individuals from a multitude of careers into his classroom to help students get a feel for what jobs are available, but he instills values like teamwork and community service as well. Today, his students spent their day giving back to our school and assisting our custodial staff by cleaning up the grounds and ensuring our facilities look incredible!
