Which School Will My Child Attend

Preschool Registration

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a resident of Jessamine County

• Families may apply if their child turns 4 on or before Aug. 1 and meets income eligibility guidelines.

• Children aged 3 and 4 with special needs may apply at any time throughout the year.

Limited tuition-based spots are available for Jessamine County residents with children ages 3 or 4 who do not qualify for preschool based on income or disability.

Kindergarten Registration

Eligibility Requirements: Your student must be 5 years old as of August 1st to enroll for kindergarten. Kentucky law requires students between 6 and 18 years old to attend school. 

TO FINALIZE ANY NEW REGISTRATION, YOU MUST SUBMIT:

• Copy of child's official state issued birth certificate.

• If applicable, legal documents such as custody or guardianship paperwork. 

• Kentucky Immunization Certificate with a

  valid expiration date.

• Physical exam form completed up to one year prior to the first day of school.

• Proof of residency - you may not register without approved proof of residency.
