EJMS Cheerleaders welcomed Red Oak students this morning! Happy First Day! 💙💚

The Custodial Staff at EJMS has been hard at work preparing our halls for the arrival of our students tomorrow. We are thankful for this crew!
Make sure to give them a shout-out if you see them in the halls!

Hello and Welcome back to EJMS -
We are excited for a great new year and eager to welcome students into our hallways tomorrow. EJMS faculty and staff have been working together to prepare our instruction and classrooms - now all we need are students! Find information about the first day of school and beyond in this week's newsletter. Our newsletter also always ends with all of the ways to get in touch with us. Please let us know if you have any questions or if we can help in any way throughout the year.

Let's give Mr. G a warm East welcome!
Hi! My name is Larkin Gensheimer and I have been blessed with the opportunity to continue my teaching career at East Jessamine Middle School! I will be joining the arts team as the full time drama teacher. I am so excited to be working with Ms. B, Mr. Mitchell and Ms. Banta on the musical this year, and I hope we can work together to produce a straight play in the near future. Additionally, I cannot wait to foster students passion for the arts not just in drama class, but in all facets East has to offer. Throughout my life, music and theater have been my passion, leading me to major in music education at the University of Kentucky. I am excited to share my passion for the theatrical arts with the students at East Jess and hope to show them drama is accessible to everyone.

We are so excited to welcome Ms. Metoyer to our East fam!
Hi! My name is Denali Metoyer, and I am excited to be a part of East Middle! I can't wait to see our Jags creativity this year in the art room. I attend Eastern Kentucky University, where I studied art with a focus in painting. I love to garden and enjoy spending time with my family. I can't wait to meet everyone!
